This portrait was selected for the BP Portrait Award Exhibition 2016 at the National Portrait Gallery, London.
The portrait is of Harriet Harman, MP for Camberwell and Peckham. The sittings took place in her office in Westminster, the addition of the Camberwell Beauty butterfly is a reference to her constituency. Moxon's technique uses layers of translucent glazes and is influenced by seventeenth-century northern European painting.
